Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and other resources to support case strategies.
• Manage case files effectively using document management systems to ensure all documents are organized and accessible.
• Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as required.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on case progress while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to family law and environmental law.

Skills

• Proficiency in document management systems for efficient file organization.
• Strong phone etiquette for professional client interactions.
• Familiarity with PCLaw for case management tasks.
• Experience in family law is highly desirable; knowledge of environmental law and tribal law regulations is a plus.
• Ability to transcribe documents accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
