Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet goods, following both traditional and modern recipes.
  • Develop new and exciting desserts to refresh our menu and captivate our customers.
  • Decorate pastries using various icings, toppings, and other techniques to ensure beautiful and enticing presentations.
  • Monitor stock levels for baking ingredients and place orders within budget.
  • Check the quality of materials and the condition of kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cooking station, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, baker, or in a relevant role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and creativity.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition.
  • Experience in baking with ingredient limitations (e.g., gluten-free, sugarless pastries).
  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.
