Pastry Cook job at Waterbar, California. We are seeking an excited and passionate individual to join Pastry Chef Lori Baker's team at Waterbar. Our focus is on creating innovative versions of classic American pastries. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for their craft. Responsibilities include production of daily pastry items, ice cream, chocolate, breads, and more, as well as recipe execution, finishing presentations during service, and managing daily product cycles and inventories. Starting pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience, with room for growth. Kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Work hours are a mix of AM and PM shifts, five days a week.
