JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of medications and supplies to customers and clinics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Interacting with customers and co-workers professionally and appropriately
• Keeping records of mileage, vehicle maintenance, fuel, and delivery schedules
• Writing receipts or bringing signed receipts back to appropriate pharmacy location
• Obtaining personal liability insurance.
• Driving safely
• Obeying traffic laws
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Driving in differing weather conditions
• Loading and unloading goods
• Taking direction from the Director of Pharmacy or supervisor
• Complying with Pharmacy policies

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Punctuality
• Excellent driving and parking skills
• Ability to keep records.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• At least 18 years old
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Have a valid driverslicense.
• Have access to a vehicle.
• Have proof of valid insurance
• Ability to effectively read and interpret maps.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Punctual Ability to sit, walk, stand,
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
• Have no moving violations within the past two years.
• Have no serious trafficoffenses.
• Prefer past delivery driver experience for pharmacy (at least 1 year)
• Prefer Bilingual

RESTRICTIONS:

• No transporting clients
• No drug sample transportation

OTHER DUTIES:

Other duties assigned and updated by supervisor.
