Quality & Food Safety Manager


The Quality & Food Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the company’s Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation, and Regulatory programs to ensure products meet the highest standards from raw materials through finished goods.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality/Food Safety team; manage daily operations and long-term strategy.
  
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain programs for Food Safety, Quality, Sanitation, GMPs, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, Kosher, Organic, GFCO/GFFP, and other regulatory requirements.
  
  
• Serve as SQF Practitioner, PCQI, HACCP Coordinator, and primary contact for third-party certifications and audits.
  
  
• Conduct facility audits and deliver clear reports, corrective actions, and follow-up.
  
  
• Oversee CQV processes for new products, equipment, and production lines.
  
  
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure product safety and quality.
  
  
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Warehousing, and other departments to ensure compliant processes and equipment design.
  
  
• Manage quality systems for incoming materials, in-process checks, finished goods, and distribution.
  
  
• Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure corrective actions.
  
  
• Maintain environmental monitoring and perform lab testing (e.g., Listeria, Salmonella, air quality, microbial testing).
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a strong food safety culture across the organization.
