Stacking: Deploying and installing the assembled and cabled racks in the data center. Rack and Stack Data Center Technician Key Skills To succeed as a rack and stack technician, you need a combination of technical knowledge and practical skills: Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing and maintaining various hardware components such as servers, switches, routers, and storage devices. Experience with Dell and VMware equipment highly preferred. Strong knowledge of data center operations and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.).
