Job Description

` o Coordinate secure records storage, archiving, and timely destruction procedures. o Supervise offsite records storage vendors and ensure contract compliance. Information Governance o Implement firm-wide IG strategies and protocols that align with legal, regulatory, and client-driven requirements. o Collaborate with IT, compliance, and legal teams to ensure appropriate classification, handling, and protection of sensitive and confidential information. o Work with practice groups and administrative departments to improve information workflows and reduce data risk. Compliance and Security o Work closely with the Chief Operating Partner and Chief Technology Officer to implement controls around access, storage, transfer, and destruction of data and records. o Monitor compliance with information governance policies, client outside counsel guidelines, and industry best practices. o Support audits and client requests related to records management and information security. Technology and Systems o Manage systems for records management, document management, and IG enforcement (e.g., iManage). o Work with IT to ensure systems are configured to support compliance, security, and IG requirements, including legal holds, encryption, and data loss prevention. o Implement automation and reporting tools to track compliance and support defensible disposition. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CRM, IGP, CIP, CIPP, or similar) preferred. 3+ years of experience in records management or information governance, preferably in a law firm or highly regulated professional services environment. Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., ABA Model Rules, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST). Proven track record managing confidential and sensitive data within secure environments. Experience working with records management and document management technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additional Requirements: Must demonstrate sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. Ability to lead initiatives independently and work collaboratively across departments. Familiarity with client requirements related to outside counsel guidelines and vendor security assessments is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr ISACA
