Technical Writer – HR Knowledge Base (ServiceNow) | 3-Month Contract | Mostly Remote – Dallas Area
About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented technical writer who thrives on transforming complex HR topics into clear, searchable knowledge-base content? Join The Talent Source for a 3-month assignment supporting an enterprise HR People Center. You’ll work ~85 % remotely while remaining close enough to meet with local HR agents in Dallas as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Audit, organize, and update existing HR documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Build out new branches of the HR Knowledge Base in ServiceNow to answer employee questions quickly.
- Write user-friendly articles, UI text, help guides, and training materials for diverse audiences.
- Translate complex policies into clear, concise language that empowers employees.
- Partner closely with HR managers and specialists to gather policies, procedures, and best practices.
What Sets You Up for Success
- Prior experience creating or maintaining content in ServiceNow (or similar enterprise platforms).
- Strong portfolio of HR, policy documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field.
- Mastery of plain-language principles, MS Office, and structured content techniques.
- Ability to juggle priorities, think proactively, and collaborate with virtual and on-site teams.
