Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

· Train, Manage & Lead rental shop staff

· Participate in weekly Manager meetings

· Work closely with Rental Supervisor

· Cover all operational hours between you and the Rentals Supervisor

· Model & enforce a safe workplace by adhering to safety policies

· Shape and encourage a healthy esprit de corp in the rental shop

· Encourage and maintain a healthy mental attitude in the shop

· Work closely with the Customer Service & Ambassador departments

Know how to do every job in the rental shop

· Deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service at all time

· Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment along with safety practices and guest responsibility

· Prepare rental equipment by cleaning, servicing and testing

· Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies

· Consistently follow the steps of the service cycle

· Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current equipment

· Various administrative duties such as conducting inventory, nightly reports and paperwork

· Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques

· Keep rental area clean, safe and organized

· Maintain overnight storage of equipment in racks

· Responsible for adjusting, tuning and maintenance of rental equipment (including usage of disinfectant aerosol sprays)

· Communicate with Echo staff on product levels/availability and assist in operations as needed

· Responsible for the completion of rental/liability forms and ensure proper payment has been received

· Assist families in the placement and labeling of ski/snowboard equipment

· Other duties as assigned

Wage: Pay ranges from $26-$30 hr/ for Seasonal FTE; Dependent on Experience; End of Season bonus potential for FTE & PTE who meet employment, attendance and conduct standards. Qualifications

Behaviors: Consistent performer, easy to get along, customer service focused

Required: Rental shop experience 4+ years

Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject

Team Player: Works well as a member of a group

Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest

Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

Education Preferred: Minimum High School or GED
