Restaurant Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team , a scratch kitchen casual dining restaurant. As the AGM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the General Manager in achieving operational and financial goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has a love for high-quality, made-from-scratch food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives outstanding service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory, food costs, and labor budgets to meet financial targets while minimizing waste.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Menu Execution: Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain the quality and consistency of scratch-made dishes.
• Problem Solving: Act as the point of contact for resolving operational challenges and guest issues in the absence of the General Manager.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Marketing & Promotions: Support local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive traffic and sales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a scratch kitchen or casual dining setting.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and high-quality food.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
