Overview We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time, school-based position working with students in the Tucson, AZ area. The Physical Therapist is needed for about 8 hours, 1 day/week. Eligible candidates must have a current AZ Physical Therapist License and a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card. Qualifications Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Arizona Must have a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card Preference is given for those with experience working in academic settings Responsibilities Develops, implements, and monitors IEPs for all students eligible for physical therapy services Develops, implements and coordinates a physical therapy program, including philosophy, vision, departmental procedures and goals Provides direct service to students as indicated on specific IEPs Evaluates students using appropriately conveyed information with parents and school teams Interprets assessment findings and appropriately conveys information to parents and school terms Consults with school staff, parents and agencies regarding student needs, progress, and instructional modifications Maintains student services, administrative and other department records in accordance with the Arizona Physical Therapy Practice Act as well as school district, State and Federal policies Evaluates and reports on student progress Communicates and consults with school staff, parents, administrators, physicians, community and other professionals effectively both orally and in written form Participates in professional growth activities Establishes and maintains good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr Humanus
