*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable *Registered Nurse (RN)* to join our team as a School Office Float Nurse in Commack, NY. In this role, you will provide professional nursing support, assist with office coverage, and help maintain a safe and healthy school environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Administer first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
* Manage student health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
* Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications following school protocols.
* Provide health education and guidance to students, parents, and staff.
* Support various school health initiatives as needed.
*Requirements:*
* Valid New York State RN license.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Must have New York State Department of Education fingerprints.
* Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to different tasks throughout the day.
