Position Summary They are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This is a critical leadership role overseeing financial reporting, system implementations, and month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities Lead Month-End and Year-End Close: Oversee and coordinate timely and accurate closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and management reports. Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies; prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses. System Implementation: Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of ERP/accounting systems, driving process improvements and automation. Standard Costing: Assist in developing and maintaining standard costing methodologies, analyzing variances, and supporting operational decision-making. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, supply chain, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and drive efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Hands-on experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, and ERP system implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proactive mindset with the ability to lead change and improve processes.
