Senior Data Analyst Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in Data Science to join our remote team. You will be responsible for analyzing large data sets and providing insights to optimize web performance. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be required to work with a team of developers and business stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide creative solutions using data analysis and statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for monitoring web performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement
• Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide creative solutions using data analysis and statistical modeling
• Conduct A/B tests and provide insights to optimize conversion rates and user experience
• Lead and mentor less experienced analysts, providing technical expertise and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives
• Communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, using data visualizations and reports to facilitate decision-making
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Data Science and web analytics, and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Science, having strong foundational knowledge of Python and R language
• Expertise in SQL for data manipulation, extraction and analysis
• Expertise in conducting data analysis and feature analysis, leveraging statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
• Experience in working with large datasets, handling data quality, and data cleansing tasks
• Ability to create data visualizations and communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and web performance monitoring
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and coordination skills
• Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, facilitating seamless integration with the backend systems
• Knowledge of data analytical/ML frameworks, such as Pandas, Scipy and Tensroflow
