We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for next-generation aircraft.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in aerospace electrical engineering to lead the development of electrical systems for SyberJet Aircrafts cutting-edge aviation platforms. This individual will be responsible for the design, testing, integration, and support of electrical systems and components critical to the performance and safety of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design: Lead the design and development of electrical power systems, avionics, wiring, and control systems for SyberJet Aircrafts advanced jet platforms, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards.
  • System Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software subsystems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Component Selection: Select and validate electrical components, ensuring they meet the required performance, safety, and regulatory standards for aerospace applications.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including environmental and system-level testing, to validate the electrical systems performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support during both the design and production phases, troubleshooting complex electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the engineering team.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications, to support development, production, and regulatory approval processes
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest technological advancements in electrical engineering and apply best practices to continuously improve SyberJets electrical systems and development processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. A Masters degree or Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering within the aerospace industry, with a strong track record of successful design and development of electrical systems for aircraft or similar applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of aerospace electrical systems, including avionics, power distribution, control systems, and safety protocols.
  • Standards Knowledge: Extensive experience with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD-704, FAR Part 23/25).
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with electrical design and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Altium, AutoCAD, Teamcenter, Jira, Confluence or similar) and electrical analysis software.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex electrical issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree: Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Specialized Experience: Experience with electrical systems for business jets, commercial aircraft, or military platforms.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or IEEE membership are a plus.
