About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Commercial Banking with a focus on Commercial Real Estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying a target market for new business and developing a book of new business from those relationships. This includes negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex corporate banking loans in compliance with lending policies and procedures. The role also involves engaging in business development activities, promoting and selling bank products and services, and representing the bank in various functions to enhance its image and develop additional business. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience, with a background in commercial real estate and a strong understanding of the local market. The role requires extensive knowledge in all facets of relationship management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to maintain a customer database and make reports as necessary. The candidate should be well-versed in financial statement and tax return analysis, and have a solid educational background in business or financial industry-related fields. Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations, as well as the bank's operational policies, is essential. The position demands a professional with a proven track record in the financial services industry, particularly in the area of commercial real estate.
