GNIRIH Sewing Operator
Job DescriptionThe Sewing Operator applies skill and dexterity in the sewing of tissue and non-tissue components and the tissue processing used to produce medical devices, in keeping with regulatory and company guidelines. You will use tools such as needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling, and a microscope to perform assigned steps, in rotation, in the sewing assembly of valves. Additionally, you will execute receiving, trimming, fixation, die cutting, and measurements for Porcine Pericardium tissue per the released procedures. The use of equipment such as a fume hood, Litematic, and press will be required to perform tissue processing. You will also perform verifications against specifications of completed steps and execute work in an assembly line. Reviewing, following, and performing job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence to SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records, is essential. Supporting activities corresponding to other work procedures, as requested, to provide support to operations processes and assisting Engineering in root cause analysis investigation for component nonconformance will also be part of your duties.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
