Now Hiring: Single & Double Needle Seamstress – Test Garment Production

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some Saturdays required)

We are seeking a skilled Single and Double Needle Seamstress to join our production team. In this role, you will create custom test garments for foam dummies used in automotive and engineering applications. This is a hands-on position requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with foam, Velcro, and specialty fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use single and double needle sewing machines to create test garments for foam dummies

• Measure, cut, and sew fabrics and foam to meet specific design requirements

• Work with Velcro and other specialty materials to ensure functionality and durability

• Create and follow patterns/documentation for new sewn products

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper fit and material application

• Perform alterations and adjustments to prototypes for testing accuracy

• Maintain high standards of quality control during and after production

• Support machine upkeep by performing basic cleaning and maintenance

• Work some Saturdays as needed based on production timelines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating single and double needle industrial sewing machines

• Experience in tailoring, garment construction, or upholstery preferred

• Ability to work with foam and Velcro materials

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to interpret patterns and technical instructions

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
