Job Description

Welcome to ESYDA Soccer Academy, a local soccer program dedicated to promoting youth development through soccer, offering scholarship opportunities, and building a strong, inclusive community. We are looking for passionate, dependable soccer coaches to help promote our vision in the community and assist with a variety of community events.

At ESYDA Soccer Academy, we believe in the power of soccer to unite and uplift our community. In addition to providing a comprehensive soccer program, we actively engage in numerous community events, bringing people together and reinforcing the values of teamwork and respect. We also offer a range of educational programs and leadership classes are held on Mondays. We are committed to making soccer accessible to all by offering scholarship opportunities for those in need. Our mission is to foster a strong, supportive environment for youth development through soccer and community building.

Schedule Details:

· Practices are held Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

· Select teams participate in league games on weekends.

· Compensation: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience and coaching certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

· You will be assigned to either U10, U12, or U16 teams.

· Mandatory participation in the club-wide tryout process.

· Presence at all team league and tournament games as requested by the Technical Staff.

· Foster positive relationships with players and their families through strong interpersonal communication skills.

· Demonstrate basic soccer skills and can run the length of a soccer field to engage and motivate players.

Requirements:

· Previous soccer playing or coaching experience.

· Experience working with youth aged 6-17 is preferred.

· A passion for positively impacting young lives through soccer and contributing to the community.

· Strong communication skills with players, parents, and fellow coaches.

· Ability to manage and coach groups of various sizes.

· Dependability and punctuality are essential—being on time for practices, games, and community events is a must.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Flexibility with weekday practices, weekend games, and community events.

· Willingness to contribute to ESYDA’s mission of youth development and community building.

· Physical capability to run the length of a soccer field and demonstrate basic soccer skills to players.

Additional Information:

· Participation in community events is a key part of this role, but not all will require coaching support.

  • Spanish or French speaking is a plus

· Background checks are required for employment.
