Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN Specialist with a valid CO or compact RN license, and at least one year of related experience, for a hospital-based special procedures unit.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based special procedures department (Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology)
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage required, approximately 10 on-call shifts per month including some weekends
• Floating may be required to any location within 60 miles and could involve assignments outside usual skill set per policy
• Utilizes Epic for electronic charting
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, carrying out diagnostic and interventional procedures, medication administration, and patient/family education
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize care, and function effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Expected to float as needed within 60 miles according to organizational policies
• Flu vaccination required during flu season; only medical exemptions accepted
• Dress code, team orientation, and professional standards are enforced
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 60 miles from assignment location
• First time travelers will be considered

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license in Colorado or Compact RN license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required, 2+ years preferred
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Certified Critical-Care RN (CCRN) preferred
