LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Kodiak Island, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements:

• Assignment Length: 26 or 13 Weeks (traveler's choice)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 5x8 Variable (traveler will work either straight days or straight nights; exact shift determined closer to start based on staffing needs)
• First Timers Accepted: Yes
• Years of Experience Required: 1
• Alaska RN License: Required, must be in hand
• Certifications Required: BLS
• On-Call Required: No
• Weekend Requirement: Yes – every other weekend
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Locals Accepted: No (permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility)
• Pending License: Not accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Based upon request
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2 weeks)

Housing & Vehicle Information

• Facility-Provided Housing: Yes (1-bedroom apartments; no pets)
• Move-In/Out: Available up to 72 hours before start; must vacate within 24 hours after contract ends
• Cleaning: Unit must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
• Family Members: Not common; requires facility approval
• Vehicle Provided: Yes (facility-owned or rental)
• Driver Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proof of personal insurance including rental coverage
• Vehicle Use:
  • For local use only (within 30-mile radius)
  • Must turn in vehicle during any time off
  • Tire chains available at traveler’s cost
  • Must return vehicle clean and with a full tank
