Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Meridian, Idaho.

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs, airway status, level of consciousness, and pain after anesthesia.
• Perform rapid assessments and intervene when changes in patient condition occur.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide pain and nausea management.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative staff for coordinated postoperative care.
• Educate patients and families regarding postoperative expectations and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow PACU safety and recovery protocols.
• Ensure proper handoff during patient transfer to inpatient units or discharge.

Requirements
Experience:

• Post-anesthesia care or critical care experience
• Experience with airway management and rapid assessments
• Experience in a hospital PACU or ICU setting preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS may be required depending on facility
