Overview Valet Attendant (On-Call) at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts — Minneapolis location. Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Valet Attendant to join our team. We foster connection, celebrate character and develop craftsmanship. This is an on-call valet position within a luxury hospitality environment. Essential Job Functions Greet guests by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel; assist with their arrival experience Retrieve valet cars for departure; assist with luggage, car doors and the departure experience Issue appropriate valet parking tickets; assist guests with unloading luggage and guide them to the Front Desk for check-in Offer services to transport luggage to rooms and/or escort guests to their rooms Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival Greet and open hotel doors for guests and local patrons arriving on foot Direct traffic flow at the drive; direct valet parkers to park cars Provide guests with directions, recommendations and information about the city and its attractions Arrange taxis as needed and handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism Resolve guest inquiries related to hotel services, local area and in-house events Drive guests to destinations within a 3 mile radius as part of the House Car program Non-essential Functions Maintain a pleasant, friendly, professional demeanor with guests and colleagues Record ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, claim check) for all vehicles; handle revenue as needed Work harmoniously with all hotel departments; comply with hotel standards of conduct Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience in valet operations and hospitality preferred but not required Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to drive all vehicle types including manual transmission Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background and drug screening Passion for hospitality and a desire to provide excellent guest service Physical Requirements Constant standing; outdoor duties for the majority of shift Ability to move luggage carts weighing up to 200 pounds; lift or carry up to 100 pounds Flexible availability based on business volume About Four Seasons Minneapolis Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis offers luxury, a renowned dining scene, wellness facilities and exceptional guest experiences in a prime location near the Mississippi River.
