About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for a Commercial Banking role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying a target market for new business and developing a book of new business from those relationships. This includes negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of various major and complex loans in compliance with lending policies. The role also involves developing business checking and deposit relationships, as well as assisting clients with deposit-related products and services. The Vice President will be expected to engage in business development activities, collaborate with treasury partners, and represent the bank in various functions to enhance its image and develop additional business. Applicants for the Vice President, Commercial Banking position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or a combination of experience and education. A background in basic lending, including the negotiation, underwriting, and closing of a variety of loans, is essential. The role requires an individual with extensive knowledge in relationship management, and exceptional analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills. The candidate should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking compliance regulations, financial statements, tax return analysis, and bank lending procedures.
