About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP - Corporate Lending Officer to manage and grow corporate and commercial banking relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively engaging with the organization's highest net worth corporate clients, as well as developing new business within the designated region. This role requires a minimum of 5-7 years' commercial lending experience, a strong background in all aspects of commercial lending, and a proven track record in a similar position. A Bachelor's degree in a business or related field is preferred, along with highly developed analytical and successful sales skills. Key responsibilities for the VP - Corporate Lending Officer include calling on potential corporate banking customers, utilizing sales enablement programs for cross-selling, recommending pricing strategies in line with the company's approach, and working with various teams to maintain successful banking relationships and manage risk. The role also involves proactive succession planning through the development of team members. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays, and must have their own reliable transportation.
