Paradigm is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to work for our client in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, through assisting internal teams, to ensure that demand is fulfilled accurately and on time, as well as receiving product on the dock.

Type : Contract to Hire

Location : Portland, Oregon United States

Shift: 1:30 Pm - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Transact customer orders using ERP systems
  
• Provide quality control inspections, as necessary, within the workflow.
  
• Pick product for shipping, ensuring all required items are picked and ready for packaging.
  
• Affix packaging labels to cartons.
  
• Receive product, processing into the system as well as unloading trailers.
  
• Take an accurate inventory count of finished goods and materials, as assigned.
  
• Converting products into bundles, kits and re-packages.
  
• Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers.
  
• Ensure designated warehouse areas are kept organized and neat.
  
• Keep Lead and/or supervisor informed of issues on the warehouse floor.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Our experience, and skills, wish list includes:

• 0-1-year experience in general warehouse duties including; receiving, packaging, and shipping.
  
• Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within the first three months of employment.
  
• Ability to adjust work pace in response to daily needs.
  
• Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers.
  
• Able to be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English including both written and verbal skills.
  
• Basic Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  
• Ability to learn new software applications including navigating through ERP systems preferred.
  
• Attendance is a critical function of this position.
