Job Title and Location Weekend Afternoon/Evening Hotel Valet Attendant – Blossom Hotel Houston, Towne Park Job Details Compensation: Base pay $10.00 per hour plus $12.00–$14.00 per hour in tips. Work Schedule: Schedule varies with hotel volume; weekend afternoon/evening availability recommended. Responsibilities Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names during interactions. Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette and help guests with bell services and luggage storage when needed. Park vehicles carefully and retrieve them safely, opening all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries, providing information about the facility and area attractions. Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys, and maintain ticket information accurately. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment. Experience: One month of related experience or equivalent education/experience. Skills: Read and write standard English, understand simple instructions and correspondences, basic math, and operate a manual transmission (highly desirable). Knowledge of customer service principles and customer and personal services processes. Physical Requirements Regularly required to talk or hear; sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, and handle objects. Handle and move objects up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly. Work primarily outdoors under various weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
