Responsibilities Provide one-on-one online Writing tutoring to students, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Conduct sessions remotely using the Live Learning Platform. Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time. Qualifications Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and Benefits Base rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for ongoing same-student sessions. Get paid up to twice per week.
