Pride Health is hiring for a Yoga and Meditation Instructor to support our client’s medical facility based in Newport Beach, CA . This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a possibility of extension!
Responsibilities:
• The Yoga and Meditation instructor at the Hoag for Her Center for Wellness will teach yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices in a safe and supportive approach.
• The instructor will use proven methods acquired through training and experience to ensure individual and group classes are well prepared to fit the needs of participants.
• Low impact exercises and breathing techniques will be used for the purpose of improving flexibility and strength.
• Yoga and Meditation: Ensure that quality of client care is delivered to all clients, and the location is maintained in accordance with professional and regulatory standards and the philosophy and goals of Hoag.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required skills:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Yoga Instructor Certification
• Proven experience teaching yoga and/or meditation classes (minimum of 1-2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe alignment techniques.
Location : Newport Beach, CA
Schedule : Part Time Mon-Fri 8:30am-10:30am
Pay Range : $70-75/hr.
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
