Consumer in Little Canada with cat seeks Direct Support Professional/Personal Care Assistant 8hrs./wk. Flexible schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide home based personal care assistance to Consumers in their homes. The Consumer decides what supports to provide to maintain his/her independence, directs DSP staff as to how to safely, and effectively meet their needs. Other job duties include: ensuring the safety and well-being of the Consumer; assisting Consumer with hygiene management (toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.); household management; documentation of daily activities; communication; concerns of the Consumer and the site, and community/social integration.

STARTING SALARY:

Personal Care Assistance $15.25/hr. Homemaking Services $14.00/hr

REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years of age or older; provide proof that you are eligible to work in the U.S.; pass a criminal background check; have the ability to travel within the Seven-County Metropolitan area, and the ability to meet the expectations set forth by the Consumers and MCIL.

· Paid PCA/Homemaking Training

· Complete PCA Certificate Online

· Incentives for Referring DSPs to MCIL
