Position Summary

Operations employees working in Long Box Department are responsible for producing quality US Tarp products. They are trained to use tools and equipment for bending, and drilling parts to fit the specifications of US Tarp products. In addition, they may assist with the needs in other departments to ensure US Tarp products are produced and shipped on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Setting up, operating and tending drill press machine.
• Package daily orders; preparing necessary paperwork and records.
• Assemble components for shipping and stock including pull-style systems, and adjustable tarp axles.
• Create custom pieces for special orders.
• Measure, weigh, and package orders; ensure proper paperwork is included in package.
• Read detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.
• Assist in other areas of operations as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Conduct quality control checks; notifying the leads and supervisor of concerns.
• Other related duties as assigned.
