QUALIFICATIONS:Hold a valid Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement. Prefer teachers who have a strong support of a continuous learning model in the classroom for students and staff; support and believe that a system based on learning, as opposed to teaching, should be our systems focus; supports proficiency based learning and grading, and is willing to take risks. Successful classroom teaching experience desired. Successful candidate shall demonstrate proficiency to communicate clearly and appropriately verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual a plus, but not required. Meet the District minimum physical requirements, basic skills, and/or health standards for the position, including the recent vaccine mandate. CONTRACT & ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Probationary 1 contract for the 2022/2023 school year. This position has 20 additional days included and a stipend for the FFA Advisor role. ($1,463.85- $2,439.75 current for 21/22. 22/23 pending negotiations)

SALARY: Salary and placement will be in accordance with the District's salary schedule and collective bargaining agreement for licensed employees. Salary will be pro-rated based on contract days worked. (Current schedule for full time is $48,795-$83,155 for 21/22. Negotiations take place in Spring 2022, full reopener. Dependent upon verified years of experience and education as shown on official transcripts.
