2nd Shift Production Lead - Injection Mold Job at PRIDENOW
PrideNow is currently hiring for a 2nd shift Production Lead for our client in Buffalo, NY! Our partner is a global leader in product protection, masking, hose protection & custom molded components! This is a DIRCT HIRE position and we are looking to hire ASAP!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains workflow by monitoring all aspect of the production process, follows up on process settings and ensures required materials are readily available to not disrupt production.
- Executes production schedule by assigning staff, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress throughout the production floor.
- Monitors real-time production data for any problem areas and follows up accordingly to resolve any issues. Complete product inspections every 2 hours.
- Maintains safe, clean and organized workplace by upholding cleanliness standards throughout the molding floor, including resin, colorant, production packaging supplies and equipment.
- Perform daily layered and mold change audits.
- Responsible for assisting with root cause analysis for customer complaints.
- Active participation in continuous process improvement projects.
- Supervise daily employee activity on the floor, address any employee concerns. Any concerns that cannot be resolved between the lead and employee to be escalated to the molding supervisor.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of injection mold experience within a manufacturing setting
- 1 + years of manufacturing experience
Preferred Skills:
- Fifth year-college or university program certificate;
- five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
