Tenere is seeking two experienced 2nd Shift Quality Inspectors, for our Osceola, WI and Dresser, WI locations!

Schedule: Monday- Thursday- 4:00pm- 2:00am

Range of Pay: Salary: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour (included shift differential)

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience reading blueprints.

Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the understanding of processes used in production, preferably sheet metal, stamping and assembly environments. Must have the ability to determine quality checks required at proper sequences of forming and assembly, read and understand blue prints, and use precision measuring tools.

Job Details: Perform inspections of fabricated sheet metal parts, purchased components and mechanical assemblies to determine conformance to customer drawings and specifications.

Major Job Functions – other duties may be assigned:

· Inspects fabricated sheet metal parts, purchased components and mechanical assemblies to determine conformance to customer drawings and specifications.

· Document non-conforming parts.

· Reject products not meeting specifications and hold further processing or shipment until non-conformances are resolved.

· Authorize disposition of non-conforming product.

· Interpret tolerances, drawings specifications, quality standards and procedures, or other part acceptance criteria for production personnel.

· Make decisions on acceptability of product visually or dimensionally.

· Assist in system/product investigations and corrective actions.

· Communicate directly with suppliers, customers and internal departments on Quality matters.

· Verify finished goods are to customer specifications and drawings.

· Approve products for manufacturing and shipment.

· Conduct Quality Audits of manufacturing processes and parts.

· Receiving inspections of component parts.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as part drawings, safety rules, operating/work specifications, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine records, reports and correspondence.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills:

Basic PC skills with proficiency using MS office suite, and experience using a manufacturing system.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
