SEEKING CARING AND COMPASSIONATE TEAMMATES? The Commons in Lincoln is hiring a full-time 3-11 Nurse Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing and Rehab community. The Nurse Supervisor manages the successful operation of the Resident Care Department, under the leadership of the Director of Nursing (DON). The Nurse Supervisor’s management scope includes direct supervision of care providers as defined by the DON. The Nurse Supervisor fills in as the leader for the Resident Care Department in the absence of the DON.

The schedule for this Full-Time position is Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11p.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directing and supervising the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants
• Being the first point of contact for the care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns
• Coordinating care needs with community providers via an effective case management process

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

• Current state license as an RN (preferred) or LPN with experience in a clinical and supervisory role. License must be in good standing
• 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse in a Skilled Nursing/Rehab facility preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable
• Possesses current CPR, First Aid, and Heimlich certification, if required
• Proficient using MS office
• Proficient in using nursing management software
