As a ABA Coordinator you will be responsible for the implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming for 16 year old female student in Weston, FL. The Coordinator, in collaboration with the Consulting Specialist, NECC Specialty Service providers, and family, provides services across various settings including the home, community, and public school.

Job Responsibilities

General Responsibilities :
  • Implementing all student skill acquisition programs, programming for independence and generalization, and behavior management guidelines, with an emphasis on generalization across settings and people
  • Work on vocational skills in the home setting and support student at identified work sites
  • Collaborate with Consulting Specialist, specialty service providers, parents, family members, childcare workers, and other household personnel
  • Case management responsibilities, including recording and summarizing all necessary behavioral and educational data accurately and in a timely fashion, completing progress reports, curriculum and program development and modification, and attending MBOs and clinics
  • Maintain a regular system of communication and collaboration with the administrative and teaching personnel at the student’s school and the supervision team at NECC (when attending school) OR coordination of all aspects of program (if not attending school)
  • Must be willing to drive between the school, student’s home and to other school-related trips and appointments

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Commitment and dedication towards student progress and well-being.
  • Minimum commitment of 2 years
  • Master’s degree in ABA or Special Education preferred
  • Extensive practical training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • This position includes a degree of flexibility in characteristics and responsibilities based on the experience level of applicants. Those candidates with more experience and/or education will have increased leadership opportunities in the development, implementation, and management of clinical/educational programming.
