The Account Coordinator will support Del Monte's direct sales team and is responsible for providing administrative support for the execution of customer's trade strategies and tactics. Responsibilities include management of contracts, web-based promotion planning in customer's systems (if applicable), deduction management assistance, new item set up/maintenance and all day-to-day aspects of dealing with the accounts. This position will demonstrate expertise in Del Monte's TPM system and provide training to the sales Business Development Manager's as needed. This role will support 2 - 3 BDMs with multiple customers and will necessitate knowledge of each customer's requirements in terms of contract administration and execution.

The salary range for this role is: $41,392 - $66,144.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Del Monte's direct sales BDMs on Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system; manage TPM reporting for validation on plan accuracy, rates, and dates; proactively identify issues and/or solutions to Del Monte's direct sales BDMs between Del Monte's TPM vs customers' system
  • Manage TPM system to ensure plans match forecast, spend is accurately captured, and products are invoiced correctly; proactively manage TPM reports to ensure accuracy, provide opportunities for improvement, ensuring customer stays within budget guidelines
  • Manage customer's deal management system to enter promotions, EDLPs, and new item information timely and accurately
  • Work with Accenture team to ensure all promotional deductions are processed in a timely fashion
  • Manage all day-to-day aspects with the customer to find solutions and handle situations with the customer and internal Del Monte groups
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • BS / BA degree preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional departments within Del Monte
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in customer business analysis (data retrieval and
  • template development) and the ability to translate data trends into actionable business outcomes
  • The candidate must have strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills
  • and the ability to interact with Del Monte's BDMs and customers remotely
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem solver, strong project management and planning skills, effective communication, and time management skills
  • Must be capable of operating with minimal supervision or direction
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Requires strong quantitative and analytical skills through use of computer support
  • Must show aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to support customer-specific tactical plans and options
  • Must possess strong Excel skills in order to be successful
