Overview:
ExamWorks is looking for an Account Executive to join the team! This will be a Monday - Friday, 8 - 5 schedule. The territory will mainly be Long Island and Westchester, NY.
The Account Executive manages out existing client base with great customer service, organization skills and a can-do attitude. In addition, the Account Executive identifies opportunities to engage and develop new client relationships. This position requires consistent contact with clients, understanding their expectations, excellent time management and travel on an as-needed basis. Position works independently as well as with others to demonstrate superior customer service, market knowledge and strives to meet and exceed company’s revenue objectives.

The Account Executive manages out existing client base with great customer service, organization skills and a can-do attitude. In addition, the Account Executive identifies opportunities to engage and develop new client relationships. Position works independently as well as with others to demonstrate superior customer service, market knowledge and strives to meet and exceed company’s revenue objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Drives the development of local and national sales
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop new relationships for the company
- Acts as a liaison between ExamWorks, actively promoting services and support
- Represents the company at industry functions, conferences, tradeshows, seminars, meetings, and when necessary, organizes and conducts client entertainment
- Informs clients of updates in regards to policy changes, services and physicians
- Assists in resolving client concerns relative to service and report quality issues in a timely manner
- Visits physicians as necessary and assist with physician recruiting efforts
- Evaluates the results of overall sales efforts regularly and reports these results to the Regional Vice President of Sales
- Continuously analyzes the market, competition, external threats and opportunities. Adapts sales strategy to these changing conditions
- Provides weekly, monthly and or quarterly updates as directed
- Attends all sales and marketing meetings as directed
- When necessary, assists with account collection activity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in business, marketing or sales; or 3 years related experience in outside sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of claims management relative to Liability Defense is preferred but not required
- Must hold a valid state Driver’s License
- 80% of the time is in the office
- 20% of the time will be in the field
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, while monitoring own work to ensure quality is met
- Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
- Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and develop alternative solutions when dealing with client issues or emotional topics
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and willing to promote a positive team -oriented environment
