About This Job:

Upshift is expanding nationally and we are looking for an Account Manager to work closely with our clients to provide exceptional customer service that will solidify the accounts as lifelong customers. As an Account Manager, you would work closely with Territory Sales Managers in order to grow their markets and leverage the relationships to expand. This role will require you to be on call at least two weeks a month and always be reachable via phone call, text, or email in case of emergency. This opportunity also has the potential for significant professional growth. You will play an integral role in providing the service we are known for. This position involves a base salary and performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with new and existing clients
  • Be available and responsive whenever a client has an emergency or pressing issue
  • Cultivate relationships to expand on them and land new business
  • Ability to demo all aspects of the Upshift technology
  • Monitor assigned Upshift markets to ensure success across client portfolio; Includes scheduled outreach and plans for re-engaging dormant accounts
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to provide exceptional customer service
  • Detail oriented and professionally focused
  • Ability to communicate well on a personal level without bringing emotion into it
  • Ability to talk down situations
  • Quick thinking and problem solving

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to manage stress
  • Willing to work on tasks beyond the job description to help team members when needed
  • A desire to innovate and improve upon existing processes
  • Must be coachable and open to changes as we are constantly improving our process
