The produce that ends up in our Tasty Bite® products is grown on local farms, where we also teach organic and sustainable farming techniques to our community of farmers. Job Summary:

The Account Manager plays an important role developing customer relationships with key national and regional retailers by strategically identifying and addressing future opportunities with the customer. The Account Manager owns the relationship with their customer and is responsible for ensuring that Tasty Bite goals are met and that we are viewed as a value-added partner. This person will need to understand the trends of the Conventional Channel, Natural Channel, Natural Products Industry and how to best execute our strategic plans with their retailers.

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree required

EXPERIENCE:

At least 5 years of CPG industry experience calling on National Accounts (Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons) with experience calling on Kroger at the HQ level.

OTHER:

· Proven experience building strong relationships with grocery retailers

· Proven capability to develop strategic vision for achieving results with customers

· Natural Industry/Product knowledge a plus

· Experience understanding customer issues and developing solutions to respond to their specific needs

· Experience analyzing syndicated data and shopper insights to develop customer specific recommendations

· Listening, negotiation and presentation skills

· Travel will be required for customer meetings, market visits, trade shows

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead customer contact for Kroger and Key Central Region retailers (Harris Teeter, Meijer, Giant Eagle, Hyvee, Spartan/Nash)
• Work with broker to develop and implement retailer goals/initiatives and monitor retail standards
• Work with internal Tasty Bite functional experts to facilitate customer opportunities
• Ongoing communication to manger regarding everyday business

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
