Under the supervision of the Tribal Finance Manager, the incumbent’s responsibilities include all activities/processes related to accounting and related financial transactions, monthly closing process, and maintaining financial records, with a focus on the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center. Additional responsibilities for the Tribal Government and other enterprises, as needed, include internal and external financial reporting, analysis and reconciliation of various financial accounts, preparation of fixed asset records, tax schedules & analyses, preparation of the monthly Finance Exec. Mgt Report, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information provided to management. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance; and a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience in a financial environment.

Must be proficient in Excel, Word and on-line accounting systems required. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to details and accuracy, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
