ENTRY LEVEL
SUMMARY: This position will assist the controller and accountant in the day-to-day aspects of plant accounting. This position will be working with the yields reporting. This position will interact with several other plant personnel to ensure that generally accepted accounting principles and Tyson accounting policies are adhered to. This position will involve the calculating of plant yields over the weekend and during the week. This may involve in-house auditing of records and inventories and other duties as assigned. This position will be the weekend yields clerk.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred. Accounting experience a plus
Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills including generating spreadsheets and word processing. Proficiency in Excel a plus. SAP experience a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
