Accounting Clerk (FT) Job at INLAND STAFFING INC
Are you looking for a new challenge in the accounting field? Emtek is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Founded in 1981, Emtek is a leading supplier of decorative door and cabinet hardware, known for exacting quality standards, fine workmanship, reliability and integrity of design. Emtek is a division of ASSA ABLOY Residential Group, Inc.
Based in our Irwindale, CA facility and reporting to the Finance Controller, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for supporting Emtek's accounting team.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all cash receipts are recorded accurately on a daily basis.
- Work with accounts receivable collections team to resolve discrepancies
- Providing accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable as needed
- Support Scanning and Filing of AP invoices and Journal entries
- Assisting with various accounting projects
- Perform other duties and tasks needed to support the accounting department
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail; ability to present numerical data effectively; good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Alpha numeric and 10-key typing scores more than 7000; good Excel, Word, Outlook skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- HS diploma, some college accounting courses a plus
