Amigos, a Nebraska born and raised restaurant chain is looking for a talented Accounting Manager to join the team at our Lincoln Corporate office. Amigos Accounting Department provides internal support and expertise to 19 owned and 7 franchised restaurants throughout Nebraska. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for maintaining the account records of several corporations and subsidiaries. Candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be able to implement them accurately.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• General Ledger and Chart of Accounts
• Monitor accuracy of accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements
• Serve as main point of contact for workers compensation, liability and building insurance agency and carrier
• Track assets and liabilities
• Prepare government required corporate documents and reports
• Prepare reports for both outside CPA and Corporate Attorney

Key Qualifications we are Seeking:

• Highly Organized
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• Extremely attentive to detail
• Someone who can stay calm under pressure and help find solutions when needed
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office programs
• Must be willing and able to work up to 50-55 hours a week
• Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as needed
