ACCOUNTING MANAGER - Working out of the SERVICE TODAY Branch location in Federalsburg MD
The objective for the Accounting Manager is to provide excellent internal customer service while providing
financial analysis and reporting, business systems management and other tasks in support of business operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to
- Balance sheet and specific expense account reconciliations
- Fixed asset and depreciation roll-forwards
- Sales & Use tax submissions
Coordinating activities with external auditors
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new
processes
Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

QUALIFICATIONS / ABILITIES:*
Communicate effectively using internal/external customer service.
Strong attention to organization and detail.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed in a professional group office environment.
Lift up to 30 Lbs.
Ability to travel by car to entities when required.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required
5+ years of experience working as leader in accounting department
