Accounts Payable Clerk Job at Hunter Hamilton

We are working with a client in Tampa and they are looking for a temporary to possible hire Accounts Payable Clerk. This will be full time Monday through Friday and work a hybrid schedule going into the office at least 1 day a week. General accounts payable experience along with proficient MS Excel skills is required. Hunter Hamilton offers hourly/weekly pay, direct deposit and temporary health benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Opening and distributing the A/P mail that comes into the Tampa office. This will require coming into the office at least one time per week.
  • Reviewing / indexing the mail that comes through the imaging system (daily).
  • Reviewing and forwarding emails that contain invoices to the appropriate parties / systems for processing (daily).
  • Processing invoices in the workflow solution that need to be rerouted, cancelled or terminated.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED is required; Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field is preferred
1+ years of general accounts payable experience
Proficient MS Office skills including Excel is required
Good communication skills and time management skills are needed
