Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a 5-Star not-for-profit continuing care retirement community which offers long term care, assisted living, and sub-acute rehabilitation.
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the accounting department by processing payments, verifying and reconciling invoices, serving as primary backup to Payroll Coordinator, as well as collaborating with others to ensure the necessary functions of the department are completed with efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- GED or High School Graduation, required.
- One year of business or accounts payable background preferred.
- Computer experience in Windows preferred with some knowledge of database operations.
- Must be able to type and to use 10-key with ease and accuracy.
- Ability to detect and avoid errors.
- Telephone, organizational, writing (composing correspondence) skills.
- Be an able leader in group situations.
- Ability to hear, read, write and speak English when performing work duties which require this need.
- Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
- Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
