Accounts Payable Specialist ($24-$27) Job at Pathway Group
Summary: The Accountant is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liability. The position will also own full cycle payroll, exempt and non-exempt, travel expense reporting, customer credit reviews and analysis and other financial activities within the organization.
Education: Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or five (5) years of progressive experience in the Accounting/Payroll field.
Experience: Minimum four (4) years of experience in the accounting field. Two (2) plus years payroll experience in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices and reporting of financial data.
- Working knowledge of month end and year end accounting activities.
- Automated payroll experience a must. UKG (formerly UltiPro) payroll experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of US and State payroll tax requirements.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Duties and Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Track employee attendance.
- Process daily timekeeping records.
- Weekly 401k reporting
- Payroll Journal entries.
Accounts Payable:
- Process all expense reports submitted by employees in accordance to published guidelines.
- Log all expense by individual on a weekly basis
- Reconcile all travel credit card activity to statements to ensure accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
