Job Description:

Great Lakes Wellhead Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & HR Administrator to join our team in Grawn, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounts payable and human resources and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling purchase orders, processing vendor bills, processing employee benefits and payroll reports, and providing administrative support to the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifying requisitions of goods and services in a timely manner.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable to vendor statements.
  • Prepare and submit 1099's annually.
  • Review & follow through of outstanding checks.
  • Manage fraud protection services.
  • Credit card statement processing, receipt collections and allocation of accounts.
  • Coordinate and process employee benefits, including health insurance, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling interviews, maintaining employee files, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation financial reports and internal auditing
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Offer support to the Finance team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as answering phones (minimal), scanning documents, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and human resources
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge and experience of accounting software systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Trustworthy, respectful, honest and flexible.
