Job description

• Calculates, posts business transactions, processes invoices, verifies financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provides other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
• Clarifies any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures; obtains proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
• Verifies all addresses and Federal ID numbers of vendors if available; calculates all extensions and totals on invoices, calculating and taking discounts when applicable
• Verifies all coding, reviews invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval, checking vendor files for any previous payments; assigns voucher numbers
• May prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, and Federal ID number, item description, amounts, and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepares Lien Waivers
• Reviews Lease(s) Rent Roll(s)
• Demonstrate initiative and interpersonal skills to promote and maintain successful outcomes within established deadlines with the high accuracy
• Maintains copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
• Assembles invoices to be completed for payment, processes invoices, and resolves outstanding balances
• May type periodic reports, other records, and reconcile bank statements
• Issue vendor identification numbers as needed and reconcile vendor inquiries
• Process and issue checks in accordance with established procedures
• File organization that ensures proper placement of completed invoices in designated area
• Act as a team player and assist in all aspects of accounting
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
